Cover Gallery for 2005 Arcana Unearthed Support Books

We previewed some of our newest cover art for next year's lineup at our "Arcana Unearthed Update" seminar at Gen Con a couple weeks ago. I promised the audience that we'd be posting the art here on the site for everyone to see—and now we have.

The art you see here is all created by JP Targete, the same artist who illustrated the fabulous cover for Mystic Secrets. Two are final illustrations and one is a sketch, but together they give you some insight into where the supplements for Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed are going in 2005. It's pretty exciting stuff!

This one's for a book of Mike's called Ruins of Intrigue.

Still in sketch stage. In case you were wondering, the litorian here is looking at himself (not at a different creature).

About the Artist: From the time he first picked up a comic book, cover artist Jean Pierre Targete knew what he wanted to become. JP grew up in Miami, Florida, where he began drawing at the age of five. He later attended New York City’s School of Visual Arts. For the last 14 years he has created covers for Avon, Berkley/Ace Ballantine, Bantam, Tor, and a host of other publishers. In 2000 his cover painting "Circle at Center" for the book by Douglas Niles won a Chesley Award for best paperback cover. A freelance illustrator, JP works and lives in Miami. Check out his art book "Illumina: The Art of J.P. Targete," published by Paper Tiger, and visit his website at www.targeteart.com.
