Halloween Rant!

I remember as a kid, there was one family not too far away that was pretty well-to-do (and they owned a couple grocery stores, so that probably had something to do with what I'm about to tell you). On Halloween, they gave regular-sized candy bars to trick-or-treaters. I always made sure I went there every year.

Most people give out those little candy bars that some marketing guy decided to call "fun size."

Fun size?

What's so fun about really small candy bars? That's not fun size. Big, gigantic candy bars -- now that's fun size.

And by the way, Everlasting Gobstoppers weren't. And jaw breakers didn't. But that's another rant...
