...Inherent Power Boost Amulet: A New Magic Item

Monster ability save DCs are sometimes a little low, particularly when compared to those of PCs with cloaks of resistance and other ways to get great save bonuses. This item, the inherent power boost amulet, addresses this problem.

Further, sometimes DMs want to give creatures in their games an item or two, but they don't want them to end up in the hands of the PCs, because it might unbalance things. This new magic item is great for monsters, and next to useless for standard player characters. Of course, if you have monster PCs, this item is very valuable to them.

Inherent Power Boost Amulet. This silver medallion is prized by creatures with supernatural or spell-like abilities inherent to their race (not those gained by training, such as being a member of a class or prestige class). When a creature wears this amulet, all the saving throw DCs for such powers increase. This item comes in five different power levels, the weakest adding a +1 enhancement bonus to the saving throw DC, and the strongest adding a +5 bonus.
