Ptolus: Monte Cook's City by the Spire includes a few interesting examples of the use of soul magic, such as an orc's tooth inscribed with a rune to free a demon god (page 256) and a spell in Alchestrin's Tomb that can transport unsuspecting PCs to Jabel Shammar (page 232).

Soul magic is a concept introduced in The Book of Eldritch Might II: Songs and Souls of Power and now collected in The Complete Book of Eldritch Might. It's described in brief in Chapter 35: Magic of Ptolus as well.
