Arm Yourself Against the Vile Darkness With the Strength
of the Heavens
December
19, 2002 (Renton, Wash.) -- Monte Cook finally gives divine-magic
users equal time. The new Book of Hallowed Might,
a clerical counterpart to his popular Book of Eldritch
Might series, is on sale today from Malhavoc Press.
The
Book of Hallowed Might offers exciting options
for workers of divine magic, such as a variant paladin
class, alternate alignment system, plus more than 100
new spells, feats, magic items, creatures, and prestige
classes. This sourcebook is the perfect resource for clerics,
paladins, druids, and rangers going up against the evil
magic of The Book of Vile Darkness.
"So
often, users of divine magic get short shrift in new sourcebooks
full of spells," Monte said. "So this book is
especially for them, using the format of our previous
arcane sourcebooks. If you liked the Books of Eldritch
Might, you will find a lot to like about this book
as well."
The
Book of Hallowed Might comes as a 48+ page, illustrated
PDF file with a streamlined page design to minimize file
size for faster downloading and conserve ink for quicker
printing. The book features the black-and-white artwork
of Arne Swekel and a cover illustration from rk
post. This electronic edition, regularly priced at
$8, is available now from online retailers for the sale
price of only $6. The book is suitable for characters
of all levels and any fantasy campaign. Fans can sample
previews of the art
and new feats and spells free.
Monte
launched Malhavoc Press in May
2001 with the publication of the first The
Book of Eldritch Might, which won three EN World
d20 System Awards for excellence. Hallmarks of Malhavoc
Press and Monte's game design include unusual magic, monsters,
and evocative game elements that go beyond traditional
fantasy, as well as a mastery of the d20 System rules
that only one of the game's original designers can offer.
All current Malhavoc Press titles are available in electronic
format at this site. Print versions
are published by Sword
& Sorcery.
