Offical Figures to Debut at Gen Con

April 18, 2003 (Renton, Wash.)—Game designer Monte Cook is pleased to announce that official miniatures for his Arcana Unearthed variant player's handbook will be available this summer.

Iron Wind Metals, the producers of the Classic Ral Partha line of figures, has agreed to produce the Arcana Unearthed series. The first miniatures, sculpted by John Winter, are due to hit stores the week of August 11 and will be displayed at the Gen Con game fair July 24 to 27.

"One of the biggest hurdles for DMs to incorporate new material into their games is finding the right miniature. They won't have to worry about that with Arcana Unearthed," said Monte. "And to have those miniatures come from quality sculptors and producers like the guys at Iron Wind Metals is almost too much to hope for. As a big fan of miniatures, I couldn't be happier."

Iron Wind Metals joins Fiery Dragon Productions and Mystic Eye Games as a licensee of Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed. This variant player's handbook offers a collection of new classes, feats, spells, equipment, alternate rules, and optional systems that you can integrate into your d20 roleplaying games or use as a stand-alone open-gaming system. The 256-page hardcover is suitable for characters of all levels and any fantasy campaign. It will be available only in a print edition from Malhavoc Press' publisher, Sword & Sorcery™.
