If
Thoughts Could Kill Art Preview!
As we get closer to the December release of Bruce Cordell's
new psionics adventure/accessory If
Thoughts Could Kill, we thought we'd give you a
sneak peek at some of the book's art, coming in each day
from illustrator Toren "MacBin" Atkinson. Toren
is known by night as the lead singer of the Cthulhu rock
band, The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, but by day he
collects Saturday morning cartoons and draws monsters for
money! And to think, his parents wanted him to join the
army. At least they can take solace that he's a soldier...OF
STYGIAN MONSTROSITY! You've seen his work in the award-winning
books Delta Green and Death in Freeport, and
he is currently writing and drawing the Spaceship Zero
roleplaying game. You can check
out more of his work online.

| The
Taphos, a psianimated dire bear skeleton, serves as
an unusual minion of Tulmercy (below). |
The
psionics-hating Wilders use "tame" mind flayers
to hone in on their enemies. But taming these creatures
is tricky business... |
 |
 |
| Tulmercy,
a psionic lich, appears much as he did in life, with
eyes that have become silver lamps of glowing psionic
power. |
The
maggotty duncharaths, new monsters featured in If
Thoughts Could Kill,
are the warped remains of evil psionics wielders who
perished using their mental powers toward diabolical
ends. |
