Free Patch Available for The
Bonds of Magic: Cabal
 If
you're looking for the 3.5 upgrade to The Bonds of Magic,
it has its
own page. However, you should use this patch first.
Thanks
to Al Card, the best-ever patch creator, for making a patch
to update Skreyn's Register:
The Bonds of Magic, Vol. 1 -- Cabal. This patch
is just a file that you download and then execute.
The program will automatically change your PDF copy of the
book to reflect the changes we have made to the text.
What's
new in the updated version of the book? The Current Patch
just corrects a few typos and adds bookmarks, for quicker
navigation through the PDF document. The version of the
product currently for sale reflects all the changes, so
you need a patch only if you bought the book before October
24, 2002.
The
patch is for Windows users, and you can download it below.
(We hope to have a Mac version soon.) Read the "Update
Notes" for further instructions. Of course, you must
have previously purchased The Bonds of Magic: Cabal
for this patch to work.
Update
Notes
1. Make sure you have a backup of your original PDF file.
2. Make sure you have the correct version of the update
program (see below).
3. Unzip/run the patch.
